SANCTIFICATION AND THE CHRISTIAN LIFE

We believe that those who are justified through Christ are called to lives of holiness, obedience, transformation, and increasing conformity to the image of Jesus Christ.

Sanctification is the gracious and continuing work of God through His Word, the Holy Spirit, prayer, worship, Christian fellowship, spiritual disciplines, service, ministry, correction, obedience, and participation in the life of the Church.

The Christian life should be characterized by faith, love, holiness, humility, integrity, wisdom, self-control, compassion, good works, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Grace does not excuse ungodliness; grace trains believers to live godly lives.
